Anyone had problems with the iPhone 4 home button?

Mine seems to be playing up. Sometimes when I press it once I get the multitasking bar come up. Not a massive problem I know, but I wondered if anyone else was having similar problems?

Yep, I've had this, chatted with others too. Seems that over time, it starts to get a bit funky (after oh so many pushes)

My iPhone 3G button needs to be pressed 3 or 4 times before it responds...

If you have any mechanical problems in your first year, take it to the Apple store and just tell them you want it fixed or replaced.

In my experience, they'll take care of it while you wait.

Even beyond the first year. My experience has been that they'll help you generously so long as your phone is in good shape.

I've had this issue as well, but on a 3rd gen iPod touch. On some days, it seems rather random on whether it'll close a folder or program, or bring up the multitask bar. Today, it seems to be fine, so I can't take it in and show them. I hope it starts acting up more soon if it's going to, because my year is coming up.

yeah.. my home button is not displaying the volume slider anymore..

One thing thought, its been disabled by IOS2 and has never been reinstated since... anyone knows if it can be brought back? It was so handy to be able to change the volume from 10 to 0 in 1 second.

@Anonymous - I don't think Apple see being Japanese as a design fault, as such I doubt they will be willing to exchange you.

I had a intermittently sticky home button on my iPhone4 too. Took it to the Apple store and they replaced it with a brand new one, despite the problem being hard to replicate.

Great service but it seemed they were aware of the issue. After checking the serial number, they didn't hesitatebreplacing it.
