A variety of sites are saying that this tablet offering is going to be worthwhile, yet from my point of view webOS hasn't been able to deliver anything for mobile music to date, which is a shame given Palm's original track record for Palm OS.
I have to say since they replaced the engineers with MBA middle managers all HP products seem to just be awful (excluding the sauce of the same initials).
I hope I am wrong. The web OS did not get the shot it (played around with a couple of the phones and thought they were very eligantly designed, much nicer than the droids design wise) deserved and I guess most of the development team works at apple these days so I am not sure what HP bought. They don't seem to know either but I guess they want to use it on printers and fridges as well. I am pretty sure that space will be taken up by android.
