Just when you think you're not going to see another synth for a while now another pops up. It doesn't have much of a description. All it says is:
Spectrographic synthesizer for glitch, circuit bent, and such other avant garde music. The sound is generating by the drawn spectrogram.
But at $0.99 it may be worth the risk.

Anybody get this? How is it?
I downloaded it...very much in beta phase, if you ask me. Sounds are very samey. A lot of room for improvement.
Actually, this app is very cool. Basically there are four different brushes one can use to 'paint' sound onto a canvas that has a looping cursor/sound head. Each brush has a distinct sound. There is also an eraser tool that does not make a complete erasure on a first or second pass, so one can end up with a kind of palimpsest of sound. I like that a lot. Here are some poorly recorded tests I put up: http://bit.ly/qGw15e
A nice change of pace from the Smule and myriad beatmaking apps so prevalent.
