I thought this would be about a mixer for all those Midi Collab Apps. It would be great to have a unified mixer that controls volumes for each apps, like a DAW. It would be much better than having into each apps individually.
But no.. its just a boring teaser.. a REALLY boring teaser.
Lol. I like how it doesn't even show "Mixr launching in iOS5"! What's up with that?! I've tuned out even before seeing it. Just concentrate on making a good app please.
This app has been soooo long in development, it's beyond a joke. It'll have to provide something seriously different and unique in order to make a dent in the DJ app selection.
The very early videos from the same company about the app in the past have been pretty bad, showing screenshots on an iPad instead of a working app was among the low-lights.
Doesn't stop me being intruiged though...I wonder if they're going to use any iOS 5.0 specific functionality? ICloud maybe?
@hombre. Did you see the last mixr video? Called "it's real" didn't look to shabby but djay rules the roost. Icloud and midi mapping to dj controller would be good.
@agentm The it's real video doesn't really show much either. Just a guy tapping on an iPad in sync with music. You can't really get a clear shot of the iPad or the app that is running.
There are so many DJ apps on iOS that this is hardly exciting. They've been saying it's coming since before iOS 4.
