After you've eaten your Ice Cream Sandwich you may want a Jelly Bean

Before you ask if I've taken leave of my senses, no I haven't, I'm referring to the forthcoming Android release of Ice Cream Sandwich, and the release after called 'Jelly Bean'.

Apparently some of the functionality that was supposed to make it into Ice Cream Sandwich is actually coming in Jelly Bean instead. The big question for me is, will this address musical issues such as latency? Who knows, but let's hope that they finally take notice.

More empty calories from Google. :)

@Robert

And another empty comment from an Apple whore. :)

But seriously, does it makes you feel superior to own an Apple device?

Been having to do a bunch of work on Android. I think they will probibly work on the sound issues but their focus seems to be more related to the web services which is Googles bread and butter and delivering users to their advisertisers.

I don't know how high on their agenda things like General MIDI are as GM is not used so much in websites at this point. But I think that some of the web service based music production studios like Propellarheads and others are building on line might be more the direction that music stuff goes on Android vs the individual app thing. I think Android will be more flexible in terms of having the types of plug ins that will make these services work on their web browsers.

First of all, post your name if you're going to comment (and routinely attack) around here.

It was a joke, and no, I do not feel superior owning an Apple device, but based on the insecurity demonstrated in your posts, I would imagine that you feel inferior NOT owning one. :)

Wow that is a lot of assumptions here. All wrong obviously.

I'm not the one who "attacked" you earlier, but I can understand why many people don't like your opinions if they are like this one.

I do own an Apple device, and no it doesn't make me feel superior, but your posts just transpires disdain for anything that competes with your favorite brand. Good thing that you are part of the minority of Apple users who are like that. Most users don't care what OS they use.

Insecure? lol, yeah you can believe whatever you want, I'm not going to try to stop you from living in a world full of false assumptions.

False assumptions?

You mean like you accusing me of being an "apple whore" because I made a play on words about Google's OS naming conventions? Are you f***ing serious, man?

Jake, Robert, what's the problem? Everyone's entitled to their views right?

Let's just express them in a civil manner please.
