Thanks to Neilos for putting this list in the forum. Well worth taking a look at.

Its an interesting list, but at the same time it just shows how poorly multi-tasking has been handled in IOS.
Even by today, there is only a small fraction of existing apps that have truly implemented multi-tasking, compared to how many apps that doesn't have it? And how many that we wished had it but never will? Devs shouldn't have to code their app to be multi-task capable, the OS is supposed to be able to handle that by itself.
I think it's sad, but at least a lot of great apps have true multi-tasking.
What a useful list! I agree that the Multi Tasking on iOS is still not quite there yet, but this type of post on the net which clearly outlines flaws, indescrepencies and workarounds must surely help to bring attention to the developers and Apple that Music Makers are after a particular way of using their devices and also are actively seeking to solve problems in their own way. Fair Play to Neilos for picking out a two tier MultiTasking list! I've noticed there are differences between MultiTasking standards myself but list makes it all a lot clearer and has enabled me to write a tune today on my iPad in a manner I wouldn't have otherwise envisaged. Good man
