Take any old palm with serial, an old pc keyboard cable (or sacrificial midi cable ) a diode and resistor... add minimusic tools and anything with a synth in it becomes 100x more fun. I used with edrums for backing tracks on the fly.
Exploiting the generous demo improved my ear ;)
