I was lucky enough to meet the developer of the app the other day at the CDR event in London, although I didn't get a chance to see the beta of this app. The screen shots and sounds are excellent, and I'm really impressed by the programmable dials idea.

I am a beta tester for Grain Science and since I will likely not be able to leave an app store review I will make a comment here. Grain Science is a really great granular synth/sampler/sound design synth. Because it has two separate audio playback samplers you can blend and manipulate external sounds, internal c/p sounds, internal generated synth sounds. It is the perfect sound design toolkit for those who are using various snyth apps and sound generators and are looking for a way to take samples of those sounds and create something really spectacular sounding. Over the past couple years I have been waiting for someone to create something like Grain Science and Wooji Juice has done it. I have been using it every day and it is very stable and very useful. Pick this one up folks you will not regret it as it is a manipulation, sound design giant, in a well designed functional interface.
Some of the sound generated from this are amazing. Can't wait for the release. :)
