- NodeBeat - I find this a really relaxing app, and quite fun to play with. I especially like the start stop and recording added in the last update.
- DM1 - I really like the design of this drum machine, and the new kits sound great.
- Chordbot - I still go back to Chordbot to play with song ideas and just to explore different chord sounds and how they fit together. In many ways it is a very experimental app without being experimental at all, if that makes any sense to you.
- studio.M - I've only just started to use this but I like it so far. I'm hoping to have a bit more time with it next week.
- NanoLoop - Another one of those apps I keep coming back to and tinkering with tracks that I've started in it.
What I've been playing with this week
I've been playing with a few apps this week and enjoying them all in different ways. So here's what's been keeping me happy this week.

Monotribe! <3
I was tinkering with the node beat a bit as well.
Last night I finally broke down and recorded all the samples and tracks I made off of DM-1 onto my pc in cubase.
I was trying to keep my stuff all iPad but this little workaround shouldn't be too bad. All I am doing is making my own copy/paste since the DM-1 is without.
I woke up this morning, put on my head phones to my iPad and NOTHING! No sounds.......unplugged,sounds,headphones,no sounds...I was seriously tripping out. I just lined out last night and all was fine. I did a sync after recording and my laptop died without notice and interrupted tue sync! I started it back up and all was fine. I went to bed. Then this morning tue headphone thing. I thought I ruined my iPad from using the headphone jack as line out. I thought maybe the phantom power stitch got turned on on my audiogram 6 and it sent 48 v right to my jack!
After a reboot of my iPad all is well. Scared me for a second there. If that was the last time my iPad was going to send sound out of the headphones I at least would have wanted to get more then just DM-1 samples ;).....
.....and that's my story of the day.
Mixtikl and Thumbjam mostly
I've been playing with shapesynth a lot, there is an update coming soon with some great new features, I have been testing it and it's great! Uploaded a song http://www.soundcloud.com/slomen/slomen-takes-the-ferry using the shapesynth beta +funkbox, bm2, and Speak it! There's a pic of my not-so-mobile mobile studio there as well, check it out!
And I've also been enjoying DM1 ALOT, and finally getting into soundprism. And also I've been really liking and spending a lot of time using soundgrid live :)
