Addictive Synth for iPad is released

I think that this new synth app from VirSyn (makers of iSyn and iSyn Poly) looks like it could be a really useful app to have around. I'm looking forward to trying it out later on. For now, here's the app description:

It was never so easy to create beautiful sounds and driving loops. The unique dynamic wavetable synthesis allows you to explore an unprecedented wide range of sonic territory. From acid loops, crystal clear percussions, realistic human choirs to complex musical soundscapes nothing seems impossible with only a handful parameters to tweak.

Together with the intelligent randomizer for both sounds and arpeggios you will loose any sense of time and space while exploring unknown sonic territories. Right from the beginning you'll understand why it's named Addictive.

After a quick test drive, this seems to be very nice, good UI and great sound. Easy to use too with the several randomizers. But I didn't except less from VirSyn :) I've been a long time fan of their excellent Tera vst instrument.

Reading the feature list it seems like they really paid attention to the features hardcore users clamor for, like midi, sequencing, ACP, all at launch. Good stuff.

Maybe it'd be a better idea to compare this to Sunrizer than iSyn Poly

When I saw the videos of this go up online my tail started to wag, it looked amazing. Got it today and I'm very happy with it after a quick play, love the way you can draw your own waveforms and that dice feature is very nice. Overall I can see this being one of my favourite synths for sound creation, as I'm a fan of wavetable synthesis which I blame on korg. Speaking of which I'd love to see korg bring out an m1 or wave station sr app.
