Is that normal? For an app to be in review for a month? It sounds like way to long in my book.

We have been seeing longer approval times than that. Some were as long as 5 weeks. This really impacts our ability to respond to the market and address issues in a timely manner.
No, it shouldn't take that long. Unfortunately, it does. Amidios pole dancing app got held up for over six months, that's the longest I know of for an app to be approved. Happens all the time to games etc. Yet another annoying part about the app store...
What are Apple up to then? It seems to take ages for music apps to get through
