It's done well, but there's still a few days left to go if you wanted to fund this one.
Give some feedback for MIDI Pattern Sequencer 1.2
The developer behind MIDI Pattern Sequencer wants your feedback. If you're using the app and have a thought on how to improve it then let him know. Details of the 1.2 release are here together with details of how to contact him with feedback.
If you could code, what would you make?
This is really a question for the non-developers. If you could code, what is it that you would want to make? Would it be something musical or something different entirely?
No more Molecule synth stuff (here at least)
I decided that probably molecule synth stuff wasn't 'mobile' enough for Palm Sounds, but if you are interested in it you can find more about what I'm doing with it here.

CMI iOS App, Audiobus, and why you'll need to get an actual bus soon
A big thank you to Kongobot for this new about the Peter Vogel CMI app which is getting some big updates in its version 1.5 (including, well, you can see for yourself right). So, what's in the update?
Here you go:
- Major App rewrite, with lots of improvements.
- Audiobus support, both input and output. Send any audio to other apps, or sample new voices from the output of other apps.
- New Synthesiser and Sequencer Engines. Better accuracy, lower CPU use, new features like polyphonic channels.
- Background synth and song playing. Play your song in the background, or use external keyboards to play your selected voices while another app is in the foreground. Great for looping.
- Stereo voices, voices from MP3, view waveforms and play voices before importing them.
- Page R step/pattern navigation while playing. No need to stop first.
- Skip the startup floppy disk to get right into composing.
Now, that's a brilliant idea! I can't wait to see some entries for this. You can read all the details of what you need to do right here, but suffice it to say that you want to find out more about this!
New photos from the molecule synth
New photos from molecule synth. It'll be interesting to see where all of this goes next.
When there are so many apps on the bus what will we do?
Maybe the Audiobus will have to become the AudioTrain to get faster and take more apps with it? Just a little thought from me on a day when we've seen so many apps get on the bus.
Exactly how big is the bus anyway?

Tabletop and Audiobus. Going to be friends?
When iMini arrived with the announcement that it was 'tabletop ready' I found that quite an interesting step, especially after the iMPC arrived with the same label. So, will we see any of this stuff become Audiobus enabled at any point, or are we going to see more of the 'tabletop ready' labels appearing on big apps?
What do you think?
What do you think?
I'd read that this would work, but it didn't
The Makey Makey forums said that if you put a USB hub in the middle the iPad would work with the Makey Makey, but I can't get it to work. If anyone knows what I'm doing wrong please let me know.

Are you using Dropbox with your apps?
If you're not using dropbox then it's something you should to check out as loads of apps are now using it as a default for online storage and for a variety of other purposes too, and it works quite well in my view. If you're not using it you can get your own dropbox by clicking this link, and what's more you'll get an extra 500mb just for using this link (and so will I)!

Nebulophone IR sync - not working (can you help Rob)
Rob's having issues with his nebulophone. Here's what he has to say:
I'm trying to sync my Nebulophone's arpeggio with a flashing IR led. When I put the Nebulophone into "follow" mode (0:35), it should lock on to the speed of the flashing IR led but it doesn't seem to ever respond to the incoming IR. I've tried IR leds, remote control LEDs and IR blasters but never get a response.
If you have a Nebulophone, can you tell me what yours does in Arpeggio "follow" mode? As you can see, mine just goes to a solid green LED when switching to "follow" and turning the Arpeggio knob (1:09) just does weird things!
I also tried recording a sequence in "lead" mode and then put it into "follow" mode - no joy.
