Oh yeah, when Palm Sounds closed I was devastated like everyone else. I even dedicated an episode of Everyone Can Play Music to it, which came out the same week as your announcement.
We had spoken privately, at the time, and I was on the fence about wanting to do my own site. I thought about it a lot for 3 months before deciding to relaunch discchord as a news site. If you had come back in that time I wouldn't have done so, not wanting to step on your toes.
So thank you for taking that break, because I really love what I'm doing now!
