Great news. London Music Hack Space have said that they'll start a video channel to show some of the great events they have and the excellent speakers they get along.
iOS Music and You experiencing difficulties
So if you tried to get to their post on DAW or iOS you won't be able to. I've added an update on my post linking to it and once the problems are resolved I'll let you know.

Arduino drum machine + synth module with MIDI input

Arduino MEGA was used for the drum machine and Arduino UNO for the synth module with a MIDI input. Both are enclosed in a "groovebox". Output through PWM, 8 bit resolution, 31372,55 Hz sample rate. I have to thank the authors of Auduino. My project started from it and here is the result.

AriVibes audiocopy arrived
I posted the other day that AriVibes was going to add AudioCopy in the next release, an now it's here. If you don't know the app then it's well worth giving it a try if you like augmented audio and mangling sound in real time.
Also, the iTunes export bug is fixed too now.

I've really liked this app since it launched and the new version is great. I find it really useful for getting inspiration for songs and for finding new chord sequences. It's especially useful now that it's a universal app too.

Ion Audio Stick-On iPad DJ Controls
Spotted on the BBC from video journalist Dave Lee, this is from the floor at CES and shows some stick-on controls for the iPad to give basic DJ features. Gimmicky for sure, but still worth a look for novelty value if nothing else. Don't hold back on your thoughts in the comments!
