Figure from Propellerhead gets up to version 1.1 with some nice new features

It's great to see that Propellerheads have updated their Figure app, and I'm sure that this is the start of many updates bringing more and more functionality to the app.

It's strange that it was only yesterday that I had a few minutes on a train and decided that I'd spend that time with Figure. Time well spent in my opinion. The app is both immediate, intuitive and creatively satisfying.

So I'll look forward to seeing what else comes from Propellerheads. For now, here's what's new:
  • Save, browse and load song files
  • Set length of loop (1,2,4,8 bars)
  • Export audio to iTunes File Sharing
  • Better recording. Tap record and then draw on the pad to start your recording. Or just press Play.
  • Performance and bug fixes
And, the app is still only priced at $0.99, which is excellent value in my opinion.

I just left this on Discchord's site. Should leave it on Palm Sounds too?

"Been playing with the update. Absolutely love it. BUT...

The next update for me would be;

1. Bar timeline in the song open page
2. Open song quantise. (so that the new song selected starts on the first bar rather than at an arbitrary point).

This would mean that effectively you could create complete songs from the song page (which isn't really a song page- it's a pattern page?!).

The icing on the cake would be an option to be able to record pattern switching too?

3. WIST (or similar to allow sync to other apps/iOS units).
