I downloaded this and messed around with it last night. Tracking is pretty good (probably more due to my sloppy playing), and I didn't find the latency all that bothersome.
The in-app synth is, well, not the greatest, but I was able to get Sunrizer working great with it via Virtual MIDI on an original iPad. Animoog worked well, too, but I started to get some glitching, as I imagine it's taxing the processor pretty hard.
Still, for guitarists, this is pretty much a must-by.
I'll have to try it with Virtual MIDI tonight. I downloaded it last night and thought the tracking was abysmal. (Strat through iRig...) Maybe it's just me. I didn't get nearly the results shown in this video, but I'll keep hacking away at it.
hi mike, thanks for your comment. i saw this app yesterday and was lusting over it. i've been afraid to update my ipad 1 to 5.0, been reading horror stories but this app makes me want to risk it. so you haven't been having any problems? thanks, lori

It is Monophonic for anyone who wanted to know .
Anyone using the with irig, I'm getting crazy stuck notes, sounds like a crazy arp on hold.
I have tested with thumbjam and that works fine.
