Guitar Jack Model 2 is the same width as the iPhone 4. The board had to grow in order to accomodate the AD/DA converter and the USB controller chips that were needed. The analog circuits were mostly unchanged from model 1, but the digital I/O to the iPhone significantly improved the SNR and THD numbers.
