This looks really promising to me. I had this very idea a year or two ago (yeah I know - sure I did!) but absolutely no skills or contacts to do anything about it. My main focus was that the App/VST would be able to help the unskilled (ie: me) to create a good mix by automatically using eq and effects to 'carve' out space for each instrument in the mix. Now of course there are tools available that allow you to do this already, but this graphical representation of your 'space' is what would make things much more immediate and clear. Lets hope the work continues and sees the light of day!
