Let's face it, for the most part iOS is the go to platform for mobile music. Android is getting better, but it's still a long way behind in many ways. But what if that changed? What if some new hardware or software came along for a mobile platform other than iOS?
What is it that would make you decide to change over?

A dedicated cross-platform (mobile/pc) music-only production OS.
It would be tough to switch at this point. But for me to look into a different platform, it would have to either complement what I have with the iPad or help me be more productive than I am with the iPad. So, I don't really have specifics, but it would just have to continue helping me be productive in a fun and enjoyable way like the iPad.
The Nexus 7 2nd Generation is an extremely tempting bit of tech. The specs are vastly superior to the iPad mini, hell the old version was superior to the iPad mini. Plus the price is very right: Nexus 7 2nd Gen 16gb is $239, iPad mini 16gb is $329. This pleases my dyslexia.
If only there weren't so many fundamental issues with music apps on Android!
Music apps is the only thing keeping me from completely making the switch, everything else is better on Android (office apps, drawing apps). Google just needs to get their shit together about the audio latency...and Microsoft just needs to get their shit together about their mobile/touch platform.
