I love Ipad based music, but I have a question or comment. Look at the amount of equipment that is being used in this video. If you are gonna hook up to this amount of equipment, why not just use your computer? Ios music needs to be portable and self contained. We need to be able to get aftertouch, and velocity on our keyboards and drum machines right on the Ipad. It seems like we are all just using our Ipad as a minicomputer, and emulating the setups we use in our computer based music making. Just a thought.

I think the key point is versatility. It's very easy to carry around and use alone. Or you can use it with many more equipments as much as you like.
