Lepidoptria, Planet of Moths by Shamaniaq/Slate

Welcome to Lepidoptria, the Planet of Moths. Less a planet than a version of Larry Niven's "The Smoke Ring," Lepidoptria orbits a dwarf red star. It is inhabited by giant space-going moths that fly in the dusk between forests of spherical trees, breeding and rearing their caterpillars among them. Join me as we visit the wonders of this strange place via music, on a special MP3 album!

This entire album was produced on the Teenage Engineering OP-1. Contributing to the tracks were new effects and LFOs from the latest TE OS, techniques including audio-MIDI feedback, the use of the OPLab and Sonuus i2M to create a MIDI theremin, a Korg padKONTROL, and the Schoenhut Concert Grand toy piano (live and sampled), the Korg Kaossilator 2 and the Kurzweil PC361 (live and sampled).
