Man, that's uber cool. Do you have to be a programmer to use PD? I'd like to get into it but it looks a bit complicated.

PD is very complicated! But it's free at least, and the nearest you'll get to Max/msp without forking out.

The free book by Puckette [the creator of Max and PD] is good. Contains lots of examples.
