IOS4 took away my wallpaper and the ability to multitask.

I should not have upgraded, yet eventually I would not have a choice because all the apps will be updated to IOS4 and rendered incompatible with IOS3.

in other news, jailbreaking is still a necessity in the Apple world if you want to use the simplest of tasks.

My ipod touch is only 2 years old and its already getting dropped by Apple, I have to remember that if I ever want to get a new one someday...

These were OK, but a bit confused as to which older phones/iPods were supported by which feature. I found this handy table on the ipodtouchfans site. Note this only lists the main features, and is not all inclusive, but I found it very useful. BTW, I have an iPod touch 2G, and while not all features are supported, I am finding the folder feature to be VERY useful for organizing all my music apps!

iPod touch 1G: Unsupported

iPhone 2G: Unsupported

iPod touch 2G: Game Center, Unified Inbox, Folders, iBooks, iAds

iPhone 3G: Game Center, Unified Inbox, Folders, iBooks, iAds

iPod touch 3G (32 & 64GB Only): Multitasking, Folders, Game Center, Unified Inbox, iBooks, iAds, Wallpapers for Homescreen

iPhone 3GS: Multitasking, Folders, Game Center, Unified Inbox, iBooks iAds, Wallpapers for Homescreen

iPhone 4: Everything

iPad: Update expected later this year
