Are developers leaving Android

According to this chart via Business Insider they are. In fact I've seen this from a few sources over the last few days, so I'm interested to hear from any developers who have a view, especially people involved in Android.

It's about Flurry's popularity not Android. Devs move from Flurry to Google analytics... thats all

Why do you report about that stupid rumour but not about the UK devs leaving the US Apple's App Store because of patent fears due to the Lodsys suits against IOS devs in the US??

Actually, why do you never report on stuff that makes IOS looks bad?.. Oh yeah I forgot, this is a blog, not a audio news website... and I'm ok with that, but fortunately I can get my news elsewhere.

Biased blog is biased.

Sorry you feel that the blog is biased. Personally I'd love to see Android thrive as a platform for mobile music. I'd love to see google address the issues around latency. Android has great potential as an open platform but without these issues being addressed it remains problematic for audio.

As for not reporting where Apple have issues, I disagree. I have done that and many people rant about Apple on this blog. I never remove these comments.

Again, I'm sorry if you feel I'm biased. That's not the intention at all.

Yes you might want to see Android thrive as a music platform, but that doesn't change the fact that you don't ever report on the bad stuff that happens in IOS world. You never report on IOS hacking, jailbreaking, locking, data mining, bugs or IOS devs getting stiffled by Apple, but you do it for Android.

You also do reports like this one without doing any further research, nor rectifying your errors, which in this case is about Flurry losing devs analytics, not Android losing devs. This is biased reporting.

Most of the things that you've included don't impact on mobile music making. I have on occasion posted about some of these things, especially in the earlier days of iOS when there were even more restrictions.

I agree that Apple are not perfect, but neither is Google either. What I do object to is being told I am biased in some way towards Apple. I'm not and never have been.

I mostly use Apple because at the moment they are the best mobile platform for music making.

Before that I was a a very loyal Palm OS user and a Windows Mobile user. If you take a look at what was posted in the first couple of years of this blog you could see that.

However, if all you want to do is point out failings, please go ahead, I'm sure I have many and you can comment on how biased I am and how I haven't done enough research etc

"Most of the things that you've included don't impact on mobile music making."

And yet you keep reporting on so many other things that have nothing to do with mobile music, or even music. But its ok, i dont see palm sounds as a news source anymore, its more like a community expressing opinions.

'Keep posting', I don't think so.

It is very occasional that I post stuff like that.

But it's ok, I think that whatever I say you'll disagree with and tell me that I'm wrong and that I'm biased.

Maybe you should start your own blog and give unbiased news and views. I'd like to read that. But you couldn't be quite so anonymous then could you.
