As Simon Bailey mentions, there are a couple of issues with the unit;
- iPad doesn't charge whilst connected to iDJ Live - Audio not transmitted via iDJ Live...MIDI only (audio has to be via headphone socket)
That is of course in addition to the split audio issue (relevant for any DJ app) which means you will only get a MONO master output if you're using an audio splitter to do cueuing [this is an iOS / hardware issue rather than app ].
Also, it seems that although this unit is pretty much identical to the iON device, the iON version doesn't work with DJay.
Minor issues I guess for a first incarnation of this sort of thing for an iDevice, but hopefully will get encompassed into the next version perhaps?
