The long awaited Fairlight app is now in the app store! Full details soon but I thought you'd like to know right now. The upgrade to the pro version is an in-app purchase.
More soon.

Comes out in the USA tomorrow March 18th.
I'm excited about the $9.99 basic version. I think they got it right.
It is up on the U.S. store now. I only wanted the chance to actually play a Fairlight for a few minutes when I was a kid. Sadly that desire is gone now, but not at all because, it is affordable.
The sound quality of the Fairlight may be accurately recreated but by today's standards it is not surprisingly archaic. The price for the ability to play back 2 songs and instrument sets is ridiculous, only surpassed by the silly price of the Pro app tthat adds features such as record and edit. At $40 you could buy 2 or 3 better apps at the same time.
I posted yesterday a question on Fairlight's Facebook fan page about their real unit not the app, and couldn't believe nobody answered me while the fan page administrator was busy putting thumbs up to people just saying "yeah I download the app righhht noooow". I posted my question again higher on the wall but still like I was invisible, and admin answering all questions about this app. Clearly nobody cared about what I could ask in the app hype madness. I won't buy the app, neither the big unit, even if rich. I only buy from friendly responding companies, needless saying mostly small ones and it's a few.
Boo-hoo! I mean, yesterday their app was finally released, so why don't you give your all-important burning question a day or two to be properly answered? Sheesh.

Anthony
Doesn't seem to be showing up
Not there for me either, perhaps it's not in the US app store yet?
what does it cost in the UK store for the full version?
The basic version was a good step indeed! I think I'd relish paying $NZ64 straight off.
I have been looking forward to this app for a while though, so I'm glad to see it's out.

Would love to see a video demo of the app. Will never understand why developers don't show off their products.

Type and ye shall find WHAT? Totally useless video that features NO sounds of the app in use?
I hope you research your next car better than you researched that question.
After listening to the voice library my opinion has gone up, but the pricing is still out of line
Still waiting for the "iSynclavier"! ;) :D
