In version 2, you can export to iTunes and SoundCloud as well as upload .wav/.aif drum samples
technoBox's sound engine for 303 sounds is second to none and when I get around to it, I will get version 2 as it just has to be better than ReBirth on the iPhone. A lot more playable and less fiddly
For the cost of it, grab version 1 and see what you think (and no, I do not work for AudioRealism!)
Actually, for the cost of it, just get v2 for $2 more and be done with it. It's just $2 man!
I went to a retro arcade yesterday and saw all the old games I used to play in the 80's... I'd go on a Saturday and drop $5 in less than 2 hours, and that was it until next week.
For .99 these days, you can buy Angry Birds, enjoy countless hours of gaming, and have it in your pocket at all times. That $5 in 1982 is like $20 in today's money. It's amazing how skewed people's view of "value" is these days when it comes to software (apps) for their portable computers. :)
