Will any music apps get into the Apple design awards?

I really hope that we see some of the amazingly innovative music applications get recognised in Apple's design awards this year.

Which apps do you think should get awards?

Nanostudio. Best user interface of any app. This is a true musicians tool. The way it allows you to select, copy and edit notes and the zooming are so perfectly designed that I never needed to use the manual. Not to mention the drum machine/sampler and synth sections. The only app I've been to create anything that sounds complete.

+1 on Nanostudio. It's pretty much THE iPad music app.

As great as nanostudio is as a musictool it's not what pops in my mind when I think of innovative or design because for me nano is great for its functionality.
For me apps like Sprak and WWW stand out in design

+1 for Curtis

...or CP1919

Both pretty unique in what they do and how they do it.

Another vote for Nanostudio. Truly fantastic app. I prefer it even over Garageband: You can create your own presets, and you can edit your tracks down to the smallest details, both of which are not possible in GB. Hope it wins!

I agree with everyone on Nanostudio. As much as I like Beatmaker 2 Intua absolutely ripped off Blip's app. Nano has also proven to be infinitely more stable as well. Beatmaker 2 crashes on me often usually with less than 10 mb of data loaded. Garageband has the glossier production values but pales in comparison to what Nanostudio is capable of.

Everyday looper really makes the most out of the multitouch UI. There is nothing there but the content your dealing with.
