iPhone App Directory

Who will be the next big name?

We've had Steinberg's LoopMash, Apple have released GarageBand and FL Mobile is on the way. So which other big music software house will release next for the iOS? More importantly, who would you want it to be?

Propellerheads doing a Reason version, definitely. The first Reason came in 2001, and just have something like that would be awesome. Even the iPad 1 should be able to handle that, no?

I'd love to see native instruments do a few apps, also plugin peeps like camel audio, ohm force, sonic charge especially their synplant synth. Love to see steinberg bring back grm tools the first set being my personal fav.

Native Instruments should do iPhone/iPad versions of all those little Reaktor ensembles.

I'd be interested in what both Propellerhead and Ableton would bring to the iOS party, although my Reason and Live needs are adequately met by NanoStudio and Looptastic.. I'm a happy camper already :D

Ableton Live for sure... and though it's off topic : VDMX

I wish these so called 'big names' would leave us (the users and the small innovative developers) alone...

Not really a big name but a version of Audiomlch for iPad would be lovely. Perhaps Jasuto Studio will Be similar...

Haven't been in touch with the AudioMulch developer (can't remember his name now), but when I was last in touch he didn't think he'd be doing a mobile version.

However, things do change.
