Loopmash for iPhone just out. Here's a brief description:
Now available for the iPhone and iPod touch, Loopmash lets you choose from over 40 presets and 250 loops, ranging all the way from ethno to disco.
With its innovative approach to mixing music, LoopMash simultaneously merges up to four two-bar loops by matching and replacing comparable elements. By using the included studio-grade effects, you can easily spice up your performance and make your music sound even gnarlier.
Quality content, intuitive control and 3-D navigation for effortless page browsing make this app a must-have for party-goers, music aficionados and pretty much everyone in between.
Video demos are available at the Steinberg site, so you can judge LoopMash's mind-blowing effects for yourself.
Warning: Steinberg also notes that LoopMash is 'highly addicitve'.

No information about adding own loops optionn neither audio copy/paste.
Seems like a Steinberg's iOS toy experiment. I hope it means that more cool stuff is comeing.
No iPad version,
anyway to import samples?
any audiocopy paste?
You would expect so from such a huge developer wouldn't you.
Lol, look at our post times.
Twins? Hehe
lol and we wrote pretty same stuff :)
Yeh
Makes you wonder who steinbergs testers/designers are.
Their grandads me thinks.
loop mash has the potential to be awesome if we can add our loops...
Which would mean they'll need extra functionality to make/create loops from the iTunes library or temp storage.
Almost all of the posted reviews on iTunes ends with a ")". And they're all one-line, glowing reviews. Must be planted reviews, I would think.
Anyway, looking forward to giving this a shot if it ever goes on sale. :)

...about 20 months behind the curve.
Who needs this piddling crap? Give me Cubase or go home.
I almost agree with you icepulse ;)
Pointless without the ability to import loops.
Looptastic is (while somewhat different) streets ahead of this.
Aye; 'tis booty.
looptastic hd for ipad i presume ?
because the normal version has a lot of flaws when importing your loops
and there is no editing at all or saving custom sets
perfectly synced or looped samples are crappy after importing in looptastic
TOTALLY PLANTED REVIEWS IN THE APP STORE!!!!
Click on the reviewer's name and see what else they've reviewed. Ooh what a surprise - exactly the same 'random' selection of apps, all with similar one liner comments.
Steinberg you should be ashamed.
