I'm kinda tired of all these apps being released that say "You don't even need to know one thing about music!"
Translation - these things are toys that people will get tired of.
Why don't I put out a nice fart synth while I'm at it.
Have you ever noticed how closed minded and arrogant anonymous always is. Yes it's a toy , but one that promotes creativity, and for 5 bucks. It may not be for the brilliant genius composers out there but there is nothing wrong with a little simple creative expression. I love NS and BM2 but they are not for everyone, so please lighten up?
I think this is pretty nice app. I like how it syncs with Looptastic HD. A nice pair for some live fun.
Making music = having fun.
Having fun = playing with toys.
My "professional" VST instruments like Alchemy, Gladiator etc. are also tools for having fun (=toys), and I have no problem with that.
I agree with both
I do think that many apps often go in the same direction,
like in the photography section the lo-fi, toy-camera like apps with a one button instant result.
just too many....
But a good toy app takes as much effort to create as any daw like studio app I think.
Less possibilities/simplicity can trigger creative thinking which good toys do to me
Very cool app! It's like programable loop-pack full of synths. I can use it for electro and funky electro hiphop.
when selecting a sound sometimes it loads an other than the one you choose,
and when choose a different bpm the bpmnumber in the display stays the same.
but a very nice app to play with
