SynthStation app still on sale
Akai still have their Synthstation app on sale with the price at just $1.99 for a limited time, although I think it has been on sale for a 'limited time', for quite a 'not very' limited time now, but anyway, I thought I'd give you a reminder as I remembered because of Kinetic starting to support the SynthStation25 hardware.

Grabbed this a few months back has been on sale ever since, I actually think this app has potential, if they added a record button on the drum kit and keyboard pages and the ability to change sounds on the keyboard page would make this easier to use. If they could work on the navigation and sequencer also I think this could become a killer music app, as the synth section is very impressive and I like the sound of the drum kits.
Am I the only person who paid "full price" for this app?
I still think it's a pretty good bargain if you think of it as a synth app with some limited recording capabilities as opposed to a song-writing app with some synth capabilities.
It's really a very powerful synth and combined with the hardware, it makes a pretty powerful combo platform to create some music.
The app could definitely use an update, if only to consolidate the layout since it is a bit of a mess.
Still, IMHO if the app were the only piece of software that worked with the hardware, it would still be pretty cool! As mobile musicians, we're spoiled with choices.
I paid full Price and not happy. Hopefully the Update will be free.
