Samsung’s mobile division VP Lee Don-Joo admitted that the iPad 2 made some parts of Samsung’s 10.1-inch Galaxy Tab look “inadequate,” and the iPad 2′s pricing might force Samsung to lower the price of its tablet
This is an amazing statement from a manufacturer.

They all need to come up with products that costs less if they really want to be successful.
Yes a 1000$+ tablet is nice, but this price will only appeal to professionals, not regular consumers.
And the utter smackdown of Android tablets continues. If the VP of Samsung's mobile division feels their offering is inadequate, imagine how consumers will feel.
they really need to come up with a strategy to counterbalance subsidizing hardware cost with app store profits... maybe google needs to get its hands dirty and develop their own.
Bravo for the honesty.
It's going to take years for other companies to catch up just as it took years with the original Mac.
I love the iPad but I do hope their is real competition sooner than later.
