Yes I know I was lukewarm about the Monotron at first (and I love it now), but I was expecting more of a musical instrument rather than another toy. A longer ribbon, another oscillator, not something that goes chiff-chiff-phut-pizz. Anyway what's the point of this Monotribe thing when we've now got the brilliant iMS-20?
To "flog a dead horse" is the expression that comes to mind? Perhaps some 'really cool dude' sometime in the future, will find a monotribe in a pawn shop for a fiver and start using it to produce a bass-line background so he can busk with this and his harmonica? ;)
