"i can watch html5 video all day long without ever having to listen to the fan, if i take flash ..."
You must be a Mac user, unaware that Apple blocked Adobe from using video acceleration in OSX for years, until very recently (and its still in beta). In Windows we never had this problem, Adobe has been using video acceleration since the beginning.
Oh, and you don't know that Flash is not only about video? I'm sorry for you.
You should also know that since there's no way to protect videos over HTML5 you'll still be forced to use Flash video for a while.
I'm glad I could educate you a bit, now you won't have to spread blatant lies anymore.
"im glad apple locks out these bad choices! and there is no irony in that!"
I'm glad you love your shackles, they fit really well with your closed mentality.
"there is no way to protect your content online"
Is this why every video websites like Youtube has a "save" or "download" option? Exactly, there no such options, people are protecting their content, and it works against a majority of people.
Fortunately everything can be hacked, just like Flash can be installed on IOS (its called Frash), and it works great, but people with closed mentality will never know, because they are not the kind of people who likes to breaks rules.

hui, look @ the flashy flash ui, that sucks (power)!
hello adobe, wake up!

Oh look! An Apple fanboy who believes Flash uses more battery power? You clearly haven't read about the Flash vs HTML5 comparisons on that.
Also, I see you are not aware Adobe is far from being dead. Realtime 3D MMO in HTML5? Not happening, but Flash can do it.

@HelloHater:
Do you know what irony is?
"Do you know what irony is?"
People still thinking that Apple is a computer company.
Apple users believing that corporate restrictions is better than choices, and believing everything the corporation will throw at them.
Irony.
Oh I forgot one!
Flash is available for the Nintendo Wii, but not IOS.
Irony.
what next? are you going to say silverlight is good software 2?
