Man, oh man, Animoog is one f***in' awesome app! There is just no denying it, it's pretty spectacular, while still appealing to regular non-synth folks out there, due to its appealing 99 cent price of entry. Astounding.

Yes It is very good. But I'm dreading the day when Moog eventually bring out the much needed sequencing or multitrack upgrade, having got 300,000 people to download the 69p version, only then to CHARGE for the update! Gulp!

Another preposterous diatribe by Tom the jealous lunatic.

Let's say they do charge. A lot of people still got a great instrument for US$1. Meanwhile, they have a revenue stream that allows them to keep developing the instrument or make a new one.

As much as I like paying $1 for something like the Animoog, I know that's not a reasonable price.

Well nor a reasonable price if just you buy it. If you and 2 million other people buy it, probably not so bad.
