This is all very well, but how do you get external audio to process through the External Signal Processor? (which doesn't seem to live up to its name just yet :? )

It's fairly ridiculous to mention the iMS-20 in a series called "Everyone can play music". That is an interface for very few people and it's not welcoming for anyone other than hard-core musicians.

The MS20 isn't really that complicated. I used to own 3 of them! When you use them, you realise that they really lack in the mixing of modulation signals department, so you start soldering up boxes full of multiples to fix that. Of course you can't do this with the virtual version.

Apparently the iMS20 works with the MS20 legacy controller. I'd love to know if the external input can be used that way? I somehow doubt that it's anywhere as good as the analogue version.

I find the iPad version far too fiddly to use so it never really gets opened anymore.

I you're using 3 iMS-20s then you're not able to judge on what is complicated and impossible to use for newbies.
Just accept that you aren't fit to decide that anymore.

Anon, have you watched the video? I try to demonstrate that, while it is complicated, everyone can still play music on it.

If you don't get what I'm doing in this video after watching all 6 lessons then let me know what you're not getting, so I can work on that. Don't just dismiss this because of some prejudice you have towards the app.
