Will Korg share their WIST Sync tech?

Both the iMS-20 and the iElectribe have Korg's new WIST sync tech inside, but do you think they should be sharing this so that other apps can make good use of it too? WIST uses bluetooth which can connect up to 7 davices (correct me if I'm wrong on this), so it could be used in a lot of situations for live work. What other apps do you think would benefit from it?

Frankly, after the piss poor MIDI implementation that still exists on Korg apps, I don't want them leading the way or sharing anything.

They simply need to adopt the basic CoreMIDI functionality that Finger has expertly done with moDrum and BassLine.

WIST, as I understand it, is a proprietary method of BlueTooth connection written into the app. The folks at Finger have successfully implemented BlueTooth sync by only using CoreMIDI. So, in theory, ANY app that adopts the same code could sync with any other app.

I mean, at this point the iMS-20 STILL cannot send MIDI, lol. Oh boy.

I agree that WIST is a cop-out. Just give us Wifi CoreMIDI instead please, Korg.

MoDrum and Bassline work well together. Any other apps working with Wifi yet? I was interested that the WIST wizard on the iPad says "looking for ipads and IPHONES", but alas, no WIST apps for iPhones yet.

Korg makes nice stuff, but they've never been much about sharing, like to many corporations sadly.
