There should be more comparison like that. So often I find myself wondering "which is the better app for that", "which synths has the best filter and oscillators", etc..
Palm Sounds could even have a whole sections dedicated to comparison, with user comments.

I'm a big fan of iVoxel. I still have SV-5 installed but it doesn't get many outings, mostly due to sound quality.
