Tabletop still on sale

The price is still $0.99 for now. I think that the price may go up tomorrow as they said that the price would be dropped for 3 days after the 1.2 update, and that's tomorrow. Right?

So if you didn't get it as yet I think it's a real bargain at $0.99.

I want to buy it, just to gamble, will I get the new RS4000 Synthesizer for free?, or not?

I would say you probably will not get the rs4000 for free unless you bought tabletop when version 1.00 was released. I got the rs4000 for free, but I have had tabletop from day one and I have bought a few plugins right out of the door.

Anyone else get the rs4000 for free from this particular glitch?

I bought TT when it was 1.0 and I didn't get it free.

I though the bug was with the update previous the new synth.

they can have it on sale until the end of time and i wouldnt buy it, it sounds poor & i dont like their politics

i updated mine (bought from launch) yesterday and got the synth unlocked.

I only did it out of curiosity as this app is basically unused on my ipad. Ludicrous inapp purchasing basically means that i'll never really bother with this, such a waste. App of the week? not a chance.

Tabletop is an app made for plugins, but you can't use other peoples plugins.

I do agree with lala and other anons in that, I don't really use retronyms apps much because they have a different way of working with audio than is natural to me. For example tabletop has no sequencers for the rs4000, rs3 and drum machines. The m8rx is the only part of of tabletop that has sequencing and I never use it beause I never write anything in the available scales. It has undo, but if you have layered recordings a dozen times and realize you want to remove one single kick instance from your first layer of recording, all you can do is start over. It's a huge time waster when it's much easier to open up beatmaker 2 and visually step edit what you want. It really sucks if your trying to create something complicated like breakcore, glitch or idm. But I will say the rs4000 is the best synth retronyms has ever made... but now I'm just hoping for a way to use a decent sequencer with it (maybe just using virtual midi would be a good idea).

If tabletop were to include a sequencer that could be plugged into any and all of the instruments / effects universally within the app, and have better resolution than 16th notes (lets just say maybe 64th notes is a good number for me), I would probably use tabletop constantly. If they included a sequencer like this I might buy every plugin available for tabletop. But right now I don't use tabletop (other than for using the rs4000) because I'm not great with timing but I am a strong conceptualist so I rely heavily on beatmaker 2, nanostudio and genome.
