Well, I've asked Santa for a Nebulophone, so all I can do is wait and hope :o)
I considered the Monotron Duo, but the Nebulophone looks like fun and you get to build it yourself. Maybe if I can ebay some stuff I can sneak a Monotron in under the radar...
