I got this to work on the iPad but not iPod.
Another method -- and this one does work on the iPod 4G -- is to start both apps, choose the patch in Sunrizer, put Sunrizer in background audio mode, then go back to Geo and do all the normal stuff there (e.g., turn audio all the way down, turn MIDI up, make sure MIDI is targeted to Sunrizer). Next, start another app that DOES work with Geo and virtual MIDI, such as NLog MIDI (or NLog Synth Pro on the iPad). Go back to Geo, and it will play that other synth. Now close the second synth (NLog in my case). Geo should now be playing through Sunrizer.
