Having the mute/solo buttons on the mixer page is a vast improvement. I only with the effects had a dry/wet balance control on them too, or even a send or 3.
I suppose there isn't a lot that can be done without re-writing all the code, and judging from Matt's posts, he's been trying to put that off until v2.
I really hate GarageBand and his million 5-star comments, cause GarageBand and FL Studio came to iOs many many monthes after NanoStudio made revolution and NS still has very good functions and so on
Matt, thanks for clearing that one up. I thought they were probably hidden :)
Really looking forward to your iPad update. That part editor screen has become a little bit too cramped inside recently (it's made my eyes go funny!!!). I'm digging the new resolution! ;) :)
And on the subject of scales, may I suggest The Diminished Scale too? For us lovers of strange and oddly beautiful Messiaen-stlye scales? :)
I really hope that Nanostudio doesn't just end up simply like a "loop player" app- like Logic has kind of become?
However, Like logic, you should be able to choose not to have any precious memory taken up by gigs and gigs worth of someone else's musical ideas (unlike for eg Beatmaker2- which is ridiculous. I don't want to be another Richard Devine wannabe!!). :)
I've just put up an alpha version of NanoStudio V1.3 for you to try out here:
http://forums.blipinteractive.co.uk/node/242
It's a Windows version (OS X to follow shortly) but you can run it in 'tablet mode' to get a feel for how it will work on iPad. All feedback encouraged - positive, negative or just plain indifferent!

Looks Awesome. I am really looking forward to this when it's released.
Is this a free update? Or do we have to buy it?
WOW!
I've been using Nano all week- and now this! I'd be happy to pay! :D

Sweet!
Matt has been saying it will be a free update on his site.
Could you please always add the source link to your posts? Where were the photos posted?
Oh wow! Looks like my new favorite toy! :-D
I'll believe it when I see it.
@Anon...
I can "see it". Perhaps you have your eyes shut?
Drooling.
...and the crowd goes wild-! can't wait
If you don't own it already, you should. It's the best music making app out.
On further inspection, the FX has got dry/wet mix controls! Hooray!
On the downside, the Chronos module seems to have lost the delay and depth controls! Nooooo!! My favourites! :(
I hope the old controls are hidden.
Fantastic! Well worth the wait, whenever it's released.
"I'll believe it when I see it."
And yet you see it, and you still don't believe? I find you lack of faith disturbing.

Tom, the Chronos delay is unchanged - the controls you mention are just hidden in that mode.
Windows and OSX versions are gonna be available in 2-3 days.
Yeehah!
NanoStudio should be alive forever.

At last!!!!!
And which one between Intua and Blip will be the first to give us Audio Tracks.
That's important guys!!!!!

@ Matt (Blip)
Great work!!
The scales in Songineer are really useful for trying new ideas so fingers crossed we might see some of those.
How is the sounds, both synth and drums, in NS?
Good, inspirational?
@Franq
...and some!!!
"Inspirational sounds"?

Marvellous. Sterling work.
