Visual Comparison of the iRig MIDI and Mobilizer I and II

As you can see from the picture above there's very little difference in the design between the three adapters, The iRig MIDI is slightly larger, but then you'd expect that as the iRig MIDI has an additional port and USB.

Sure would love to know how they compare in practical use. I bought the Line 6 Midi Mobilizer the day it came out (usually a bad idea because the new and improved is usually waiting in the wings) and I'm not sure if it's worth changing horses.

"changing horses"????? where did that come from? Sounds like something my grandfather would have said.

Would you say there is a difference in durability between these interfaces?

I have the irig and it feels pretty darn plasticy and cheap...

I'd like to see the Yamaha i-MX1 in the comparison, it seems to be a little bit smaller than the others.

Thanks for this comparison. It's pretty clear iRig MIDI is the one to get. When I was reading up on it on their website, I saw they have a sample synth app, SampleTank for iPhone. I got the free version. It sounds fantastic! http://www.ikmultimedia.com/irigmidi/moreinfo/sampletank.php
