Isn't it just hooking up some 40106 IC driven oscillators (up to 6 are available with only one of these chips) to some wires and moving the ends (which are connected to pieces of metal mounted to a piece of wood) around on a sheet of paper with some graphite traces? Kick my butt if I'm wrong or too negative again ;)
