You should post some tasty screenshots and video of this again. So people get how good this is. Next to the AniMoog, this is the best $0.99 you could spend today. An absolute steal.
i held off buying this for so long, but when i saw the price drop i bought it.
so glad i waited, what's the big deal with this thing? it triggers samples, whoo-hoo. no midi, no acp, no custom samples, no fx automation ... sorry but i just don't get it yet.
@Anon: MIDI, AudioCopy export, Sample import, and more effects are coming in future updates, according to the devs. Not sure about automation, but 3 out of 4 isn't bad.
@Anon: Name one drum machine for the iPad that sounds better, looks better, is as intuitive to use, has such a range of sounds, and is just a joy to make beats with.
As RN says, ACP, sample import and more FX is coming. The only thing that irritates me is they removed the retrigger slider in the pads section and replaced it with pitch, why not have both? I used that a lot.
@ Little Machine "The only thing that irritates me is they removed the retrigger slider in the pads section and replaced it with pitch, why not have both? " I agree , but I never used it as it was broken and over-clocked . I guess that's how they fixed it ....by removing it : /
@LittleMachine MoDrum, Funkbox are similar dedicated drums, but sound better and play nicely with other apps.
iElectribe has a larger feature set and price, but a joy to work with.
Beatmaker, Nanostudio, are more general purpose, and again pricier, but they let me build my own sample sets, making a dedicated drum machine redundant.
and so on..
In DM1's defense, i'll say it does look nice, and the price is right for what it does now, but it wasn't worth the $5 as before. For that money i at least hope to get midi. And yes i know they said it's in the works. I wish them well-!

In addition to the list of drumapps;
am I the only fingerbeat fan?
