A. I doubt it will be approved. B. It will be probably be my last post on this blog. C. The needs of the many, outweigh the needs of the few (or one, in this case). Even though a lot of people are too selfish to understand that sentiment.
Simply because 'zaclaurent' couldn't ignore others comments, and do what was best for this community; every comment now has to be vetted, in case it is derogatory or inflamitary.
I cannot and will not accept this state of affairs, but also (reluctantly) understand why it has to be this way.
Once again, because ONE person (who won't even think this is their fault) can't simply rise above, and not take comments personally, which were specifically designed to provoke a reaction from him, something unique and beautiful has been ruined.
I resent greatly this state of affairs; as an adult I have the right to express myself freely, and without borders. Especially because it has been taken away because of the aforementioned person.
I welcome any critism, constructive or otherwise, because freedom of speech is probably the most important right that human beings have; even though in a lot of countries, you may be imprisoned, or worse, torchered or even killed for expressing it. I consider myself very very lucky to be able to do it without that fear.
As someone (yes I know what film it was) once said; "and that's all I have to say about that."
Thank you, Ashley, for teaching me so much about mobile music. It is very much appeiciated. You did have the best blog on the internet, as far as I'm concerned. I wish I knew you in the real world.
I really hope this post doesn't get rejected either...
If you don't want to post any more on Palm Sounds, I understand fully. :)
Also, do come join us on Soundcloud if you can, and havent already done so? (Palm Sound's Soundcloud that is- all the better!). Post anything you like (I really mean that!) No one can take away your noise!
You're a lovely person! :D

Romeo, the moderation is hopefully not permanent. It has stopped a lot of the noise that was happening on Friday, so whilst I understand your decision and respect it please come back in a few days and hopefully things will be different, or back to normal anyway.
I remember the old version had wayyy to much bouncing back and forth to get an idea down. THIS version looks like that problem is mostly solved and somewhat more intuitive.
I'm currently in a watch mode before taking a decision to stay or definitely go away from this blog, but I must say the latter is the most likely to happen. This is a pity because I enjoy so much coming here and learn about new apps, techniques and the opinion of many different people, whether I like them or not (the opinions not the folks).
Frankly Ashley you did a great job moderating (or not moderating in facts) the comments until Friday but the decision to shut down the anonymous posting possibility shocked me last Friday. I'm very glad it returned yesterday and it made me come back to see how the situation will evolve.
As Romeo said, one person not adult enough to deal with (or to ignore as finally did with all his own crap) turned normal Internet sillyness into an exercise of intimidation (evoquing criminal behavior and 'important' people leaving the blog, that is developers not us normal readers and commenters).
As a result I'm affraid the same people will continue to post and will be very happy as all the others will have flown away or restreint their expression fearing of being accused of damaging a place (this blog) they care about.
As a result seing things as they are today, that is very peaceful with the same posting as if nothing happened, may be normal and a good sign. It may also be a sign that the victory totally went to a certain quiet-fascist kind of society I don't want to be a part of.
Enough of a long comment (I don't think my comments should flood any discussion, I'm more interested in the others' opinions as I already know mine).
Thanks for your blog Ashley, I hope everything will be fine for you in the future.
Guys please don't blame Zac as he was hacked on Friday. That's a different thing altogether. As far as I know Zac hasn't been trolling around here so let's not put the blame on him.

As far as acp, I'm always in favor.
Still not iOS5 compatible, so boo. >:-(
@palm-sounds
I am totally with Romeo November.
