Amidio's Touch DJ has been in review for almost 8 weeks now and others are in the same boat. Please sign this petition for Apple to allow DJ apps on the iPhone.

The thing I don't understand about this petition is that there ARE dj apps in the store. I'll sign it, but yeah, seems a bit "odd" to me is all...

No, you are wrong here. There are no *mp3* dj apps. The ones that let you mix your mp3 tracks freely.

That's one of the thing that kills me with iphone/touch. Why Apple won't allow developpers to use the filesystem (where we already have loads of sounds) instead of forcing every little app to have their own way of uploading sounds into them and not being able to share sounds with other apps.

Is this thing a mobile computer or not?

Freely mp3 track mixing?! What's that? There are DJ apps in the store already and you CAN upload mp3 files as well. Must be different reasons that they not get into the store. To address this petition is a complete joke. As if this would change something to Apple... Better be represented by counsel if Apple pull you legs. Sounds that they have their own DJ app in the pipeline, so many DJ here and there in iTunes! The funny thing is that Apple's DJ Stuff has NOTHING to do with real DJing...

You don't make that distinction on the petition. Well, that's not what comes across. And I disagree. The having to convert the tracks before I can use them is annoying but after that I can do what I like with the tracks.

do you think that this had any impact at all?
