Microsoft up to their old tricks again? This speaks volumes about Microsoft and their attitude to their marketing and products. ie, if the Zune will be such a great product, why do Microsoft feel they have to bribe iPhone developers with substantial amounts of cash to get them to port to their iPod clone?

Well, I think you're probably right. I doubt that the Zune will get nearly as much attention as the iPhone, but I'll keep an eye open in case they do anything interesting.
