A bit more detail on the GuitarJack with the iPhone 4. You can see that the pads under the GuitarJack are at a slightly different level than the iPhone. It doesn't seem to cause a problem and there doesn't appear to be any stress on the connector.
As I mentioned in a previous post the fit with the iPad 2 is at a perfect level so I'm guessing it would be very hard to make this work for both devices.
